I love creating thumbnails for social media. They're satisfying, impactful projects that are a joy to work on. Bringing a brand's feeling into the project is so much fun, as I get to step into the shoes of different audiences.
Youtube thumbnails are especially fun to create, as I get to use so many different skills. Photo editing, typography, drawing, and design. The vibrant, welcoming color palettes are fun to work with, and playing with different graphical elements to see what draws you in is a blast.

These designs were created as part of an Instagram carousel, inspired by a fashion brands like H&M and Zara. I love working within a limited brand color palette to create simple designs that have a big impact.
Working with smaller clients can come with the fun challenge of using photos taken under tricky conditions. For this Facebook event banner, I was able to make the dancer's faces brighter and more visible, and bring out the vibrancy so it the colors match the joy and movement of the photo. I worked with grainy texture in the photo by using additional texture and color adjustments to help it feel intentionally vintage and to mimic the colored spots in the background.
